He said Cadiznons went out on thestreets to enjoy the event that paid homage to Sto. Niño. There was no untoward incident thatwas reported, Escalante said. They were probably under theinfluenced of alcohol and wanted to get attention, he pointed out. “In behalf of Cadiz City, I amapologizing to the public for what happened. It is lessons learned that willnot be repeated next year,” Escalante said, claiming the pair involved in theobscene act were not city residents and blamed it on a security failure.
