first_imgStrategic Airlines has China in its sights Source = e-Travel Blackboard: M.H Strategic Airlines has lodged an application for 1,911 weekly seats on the Australia-China route as the carrier looks to commence services between the two countries from September this year. The Brisbane-based airline has requested the allotment for an initial five year period and intends to fully use its allocation by 31 August 2012, according to documents released by the International Air Services Commission. The commission has now invited other carriers to apply for the capacity, with 3 June 2011 the confirmed closing date for submissions. The news comes just days after the announcement by the airline confirming a global distribution agreement with Amadeus agencies worldwide. last_img
