The kitchen at 14a Palmtree Ave, ScarboroughMr Cattanach said having a sole bidder at the auction was not indicative of the interest in the home. “We had about 35 groups come through the property and there were other buyers, but they weren’t in the position to bid at auction,” he said. “There is not a lot available in Scarborough at the moment so people are waiting for quality listings in the area.“That’s why we had so many groups come through Palmtree Ave in two weeks. “Properties that are listed predominantly sell within two to three weeks.” The Scarborough-based agent said buyers were looking for blocks of 500-600sq m. “Most buyers aren’t interested in anything that would require too much work,” he said. PHOENIX — Playing shortstop is not like riding a bike. Chris Taylor held up his error in the seventh inning Monday as a case in point.Jarrod Dyson hit a ground ball to the left of the mound that caromed off Dodgers pitcher Tony Cingrani. Suddenly, time was of the essence. With 20-20 hindsight, Taylor believes he should have tossed the ball to second base for a forceout. Instead, he rushed a throw to first that sailed high. Cody Bellinger had to jump just to keep the ball from encroaching on the first row of seats. By the time his feet returned to solid ground, it was too late to tag the speedy Dyson.“That’s one of those plays that, the more I’m there, the game will slow down a little bit,” Taylor said.Taylor should have plenty of time to re-adjust to his natural position. All-Star Corey Seager will miss the rest of the season recovering from Tommy John surgery. The position is Taylor’s to lose. Turner hasn’t played this season while recovering from a fractured bone in his left hand. He only began swinging a bat last week.Forsythe is on the 10-day disabled list with inflammation in his right shoulder.Rich Hill threw a bullpen session Tuesday and will start Sunday’s game in Monterrey, Mexico against the San Diego Padres. Stewart allowed three hits and one run, and struck out three batters in his 2018 debut. … Left-hander Edward Paredes was recalled from Oklahoma City prior to Tuesday’s game. Paredes was 1-2 with one save and a 1.86 ERA at Triple-A. … The Facebook Watch broadcast of Thursday’s game will feature Rich Waltz calling the game alongside analysts representing both clubs, the Dodgers’ Orel Hershiser and former D-back Eric Byrnes. Dodgers bench slumping Cody Bellinger for a day Dodgers’ Justin Turner looking rejuvenated on defense This isn’t a cold audition. The Dodgers tried to keep Taylor’s shortstop instincts warm during Cactus League play, and again during pregame drills in the regular season. Adjusting to a double-play partner – Chase Utley, Austin Barnes, Kiké Hernandez or Logan Forsythe – shouldn’t be a problem, he said. But game speed is something no one can practice. Taylor said that playing an inning here or there can only help so much.“Shortstop’s a really tough position to play if you’re not there every day,” he said. “It helps with your confidence, getting in that routine. It’s a position where you have to be aggressive. There can be no doubt. I like the idea of having an everyday player at shortstop rather than a platoon.”INJURY UPDATESInfielder Logan Forsythe might begin his minor league rehab assignment this weekend, Manager Dave Roberts said, but Justin Turner is unlikely to join him.Related Articles Dodgers’ hot-hitting Corey Seager leaves game with back injury Whicker: Dustin May yet another example of the Dodgers’ eye for pitching Turner “took a lot of dry swings, a lot of grounders,” Roberts said. “It’s pushed back a little bit, not for any real reason but just the progression.” Dodgers’ Dave Roberts says baseball’s unwritten rules ‘have changed, should change’ Newsroom GuidelinesNews TipsContact UsReport an Error
