Bojan warns Barcelona over Messi as Chelsea and Man City on standby

first_img Bojan with Lionel Messi Stoke City striker Bojan has put Premier League clubs back on high alert, after supporting claims that Lionel Messi is unhappy at Barcelona.The 24-year-old, who left the Nou Camp for the Britannia in the summer, told Catalan paper L’esportiu that not enough was being done to keep his former teammate happy.Messi is said to be growing increasingly disullioned with life under Luis Enrique and is being linked with Manchester City and Chelsea.“Messi wants to feel important and be in good company,” Bojan said. “That is when he is at his best.“He is, and was, so decisive that he has won the merit of choosing when to play and when not to.”Bojan has also put pressure on current Barcelona boss Enrique, claiming he is not at one with his players.He added: “He [Enrique] is misunderstanding the players.
